Angove Wines

Nestled in the family’s historic McLaren Vale vineyard, the Angove McLaren Vale Cellar Door is set amongst a sea of vines. One building is a traditional old Adelaide bluestone. Another building includes floor to ceiling glass ensuring panoramic vineyard views and abundant natural light. The impressive cellar door at Angove McLaren Vale Vineyard offers superb wine tasting which is complemented by choice of shared regional and cheese platters. 

 Tasting can be hungry work and we have the answer to your needs with our Ploughman’s platter or cheese plate, available daily from 12 – 3pm.


Beach Road Wines

Located in the heart of the McLaren Vale wine region only minutes’ drive from Bellevue B&B. Beach Road Restaurant is in a delightful setting with picturesque views of the vineyards.

A feature of the restaurant is a rustic wood oven which inspires a menu with a focus on traditional Italian style pizza and super-fresh seasonal produce. And of course there is an excellent wine list with wines have been perfectly paired with their extensive menu for your enjoyment.

 Beach Road Wines serve gorgeous pizzas from the wood fired oven with a selection of salads, dips, olives and flat bread.


Coriole Vineyards – Gather

For unrivalled peace and tranquillity head to Coriole Vineyards on the Seaview ridge.  The vineyard is home to Gather Restaurant, which boasts a modern Australian menu brimming with local produce.

Guests are encouraged to “Gather & Graze” and enjoy a relaxed approach to dining in the charming setting.

Open for lunch every day  –  reservations are highly recommended. 


d‘Arrys Verandah

d’Arry’s Verandah is housed in a restored 19th century homestead, with spectacular views of rolling hills and vineyards. d’Arry’s showcases the best of local and seasonal produce, the food experience complimented by the extensive and world renowned d’Arenberg wine portfolio.

Standard, vegan and vegetarian degustation menus are available. All d’Arenberg wines are vegan friendly



Down the Rabbit Hole

McLaren vale’s newest Cellar Door is Down The Rabbit Hole.

Platters available all day, they will feed you whether you’re just peckish or pretty hungry.

Every ingredient in the kitchen in organic and everything is gluten free.  They aim to pack your delicious food with nutrition. If you are vegetarian or vegan, just let them know.  


Ekhidna Wines

Located in McLaren Vale the wine rich the Ekhidna Wines Restaurant is a delicious exploration of both local and imported ingredients. Taste your way across Europe with this modern and rustic style menu of hearty dishes.

Graze on patés and cheese boards while sampling some of the wineries finest reds and whites or celebrate with a group and enjoy the chef’s feasting menu, an experience not to be missed.

All dishes come with wine suggestions just reminding you of your stunning vineyards clad surrounds.


Fox Creek Wines

Fox Creek invite you to visit their nineteenth century stone Cellar Door cottage, conveniently located about 7 minutes south of Belleuve B&B.

The large grassed lawn surrounded by native flowers, gum trees and of course vineyards.  They offer regional platters for those wishing to linger longer with a glass of wine and free children’s treasure hunts which provide endless entertainment for those who are unable to enjoy wine.

The Cellar Door gallery features unique works from a different local artist or collective every two months, along with an array of outdoor sculptures scattered throughout the gardens.


Gemtree Wines

Relax on the deck with a glass of Gemtree wine and enjoy unparalleled views over their vineyards and beyond to the sea. Sample their regional platter, which is loaded with organic produce from the Fleurieu Peninsula accompanied by seasonal produce from their very own home-grown veggie patch.

With heating on the deck for autumn and winter, and plenty of lawn to enjoy one of our regional platters, it’s always a good time to visit us on Elliott Road.

Harry’s Deli at Wirra Wirra Wines

Established within a cosy cellar door, Harry’s Deli at Wirra Wirra Estate in the scenic McLaren Vale offers a casual and relaxed dining experience.

Focused on showcasing some of the talented local producers, the deli not only creates a gourmet menu using artisan cheeses and ingredients but sells them in the deli for you to take home and enjoy.

Pop over to the bar at the cellar door to taste one of the Mclaren Vale’s favourite wines.

Hugo Wines

The Hugo family invite you to their charming architecturally designed cellar door with its landscaped design overlooking the vineyards and coastline.

Enjoy a tasting of the Hugo Estate wines and award winning extra virgin olive oil then settle in for an hour or two with a “make your own platter.

Platter produce is selected from a range of local producers.


LeconfieldWines 

Leconfield McLaren Vale Cellar Door is home of Richard Hamilton Wines. Three kilometres south of Bellevue B&B, on the Willunga the striking building blends Australian and Danish characteristics, reflecting the owners respective heritages.

The Cellar Door offers the full range of Richard Hamilton Estate and Single Vineyard Reserve wines, and selected Leconfield wines. Platters of local regional foods are available daily.

The building is bordered by sweeping lawns and wide verandahs.


Little Wolf Osteria at Mitolo Wines

Chef Vincenzo La Montagna’s early memories are inextricably linked to the family table. It was here that he learned a commitment to cultural culinary traditions, respect for the ingredient and appreciation of the land from his parents Angelo and Maria.

This is reflected in the new menu at Little Wolf where the focus is on house made, house grown and locally sourced produce that delivers striking modern flavour. Here at Mitolo surrounded by the sea, produce and amazing wines we want to share the fun.

Our menu embraces tradition and much loved flavours of the Italian kitchen. The mantra is to use the very best ingredients, prepared with respect and care, cooked over fire, made by hand and loved by us to share with you.


LLoyd Brothers Wine & Olive Company 

The 70 acre family estate, is conveniently positioned just 3 km North of Bellevue B&B.

Considered by many as one of the most favoured positions in the valley. The vineyard sits on the southern slope overlooking the township with views of the Mount Lofty Rangers extending and touching the Gulf of St Vincent.

Enjoy a glass of estate wine with a range of different platters including local and estate grown produce.


Maxwell Wines 

Maxwell Wines is only a 750-meter walk from Bellevue B&B, making it an ideal location for lunch/dinner and wine tasting.

The outside deck at Maxwell Wines heralds a special meal with high-rise views of the rolling McLaren Vale hills.

When visiting the region, the restaurant is a must-see, providing a memorable culinary experience that promotes seasonal produce from local suppliers.

Chef Fabian Lehmann and the restaurant team carefully craft and present each dish, with an emphasis on the high-quality produce that South Australia has in abundance.

This award-winning restaurant is open for lunch Friday, Saturday & Sunday with sittings from 12 noon and dinner service from 6:30pm on Saturday evening. They exclusively offer a multi-course tasting menu.

Mollydooker Wines

They love nothing more than hosting friends in their retro-themed tasting room.

Drop into the cellar door for a warm welcome and a tasting, stay a while and enjoy a glass of wine with a custom built platter (see menu here) whilst soaking in the panoramic views of surrounding vineyards and the beautiful Willunga hills.

A $10 tasting fee applies*, which includes a stemless Mollydooker Plumm glass to keep (MollyClub members receive complimentary tastings)


Olivers Taranga Wines

Olivers Taranga  teamed up with local operator who runs an amazing whole food catering business called ‘Real Food Life’.

On the weekends they offer a colourful displays of local produce and amazing raw treats.

If you would like to have some delicious local produce to nibble on while you settle in for your wine tasting, you can pre-order a delicious grazing box for 2.

Even the fussiest of eaters will find something to satiate their appetites at Oscars in picturesque McLaren Vale.

The Mediterranean-inspired a la carte menu offers everything from steak to fish to gourmet pizzas and pasta, all produced with the finest quality local produce and served up in an ambient setting under the shining sun in summer or by a warm fire in winter.

Oxenberry Farm 

Sharing its roots with the town, Oxenberry Farm stands to be the oldest establishment in McLaren Vale established 1840. 

They offer table service in the café, where they serve light lunches that use fresh and local produce as much as possible.

Their robust coffees use certified organic fair trade coffee beans, decadent desserts and authentic Italian gelato, and a range of platters that showcase both local and international cheeses, cured meats/smallgoods, and antipasto.


Polly’s Lounge at d’Arenberg

Polly’s offers a relaxed lounge vibe with bespoke platters, and wine by the bottle or glass.

Located in the same 19th century homestead that houses d’Arry’s Verandah Restaurant, as the seasons change, so does the experience.

Soak up sunshine on the lawns, the view from the deck, or the warmth of the fireplace.


Red Poles

Red Poles in McLaren Value brings together food, wine and art in tranquil surrounds.

Sit back and be inspired by the array of local art which consumes the walls of the café whilst listening to the soft soothing sounds of local musicians every Sunday.

With the entertainment covered, sip on local drops and ignite your tastebuds with gourmet twists on traditional country style favourites such as Zhoug marinated chicken breast and soft shell crab with fresh produce and spices with a kick.


Salopian Inn

The Salopian Inn, Mclaren Vale reopened with an inspired refit of the 1851 homestead.

The Inn has an exceptional local and international wine cellar, and offers contemporary Australian cuisine with a regional, seasonal focus.

The menu spans from Asian-inspired lemongrass calamari, to roast lamb rump with spring peas and goats fetta dressing. Sweets include a chocolate brioche and roast pear pudding, and a salted caramel ice-cream sandwich. The Inn also harbours an exotic selection of gin.


 


Serafino Wines Cellar Door

Serafino Cellar Door brings the outside in, by overlooking the beautiful grounds of the complex.

Relaxing on the Cellar Door deck is the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful weather. Sit under the lights, with the traditional vines ready to weave their way through their pillars.

Enjoy the atmosphere and the true pleasures of our wines.

They have delicious small bites and 3 gourmet platters to choose from, loaded with seasonal produce from our region. 



Star of Greece

Charming 1950’s kiosk perched on a cliff with magnificent views of the sea and the coastline of Port Willunga, all within a ten minute drive from the McLaren Vale wineries.

Great food with emphasis on seafood and this is where you will probably get the best calamari ever, caught by the local fisherman on the beach below


The d’Arenberg Cube

No one will be able to top your weekend story if you visit the d’Arenberg Cube. The cube is a five story Rubik’s cube, overlooking a vineyard, housing a restaurant inside.

With contemporary artworks, including installations where you find yourself squeezing bike horns to release the scent of winemaking, there’s a bit of Willy Wonka whimsy here. Embrace the unexpected.

Once your appetite for the eclectic has been piqued, you’ll be ready to move seamlessly onto the food, which is imbued with the same imaginative playfulness as its surrounds.


The Currant Shed – Shottesbrooke Wines

 The Current Shed restaurant is situated in the Old Currant Drying Shed with views on one side to the vines and the other to the citrus orchard.

The culinary team brings many years of experience to the Currant Shed kitchen.

With varied experience across many regions, they have the remarkable ability to translate the flavours of the land directly onto the plate using some of the Fleurieu, and South Australia’s best produce, sourced from a raft of local suppliers.

From handmade smoked ricotta gnocci and heirloom carrots, to locally caught Barramundi with freshly picked greens crafted from ingredients grown in the restaurant’s own vegetable garden, they painstakingly create seasonally changing menus that are eclectic and edgy.


Vigna Bottin Wines

Vigna Bottin is located at the former Willunga institution, Au Pear restaurant.  While they offer Italian cuisine they do so as you’d expect to find at nonna’s table.

The menu, worked on by well-known McLaren Vale cook, Annika, using recipes handed down from Maria and Paolo’s family, is comfort food, homely food.

Annika, who is renowned for her Italian cuisine, brings her antipasto, which is a huge hit with locals and tourist alike. 

House made preserves and pickles on the platter, everything is made from scratch, in house and seasonal.



Victors Place

Victors Place is one of the most popular restaurants in McLaren Vale.

Set amongst the rolling hills of the Onkaparinga Gorge at the gateway to McLaren Vale, Victor’s Place encompasses a family run Winery, Brewery and Restaurant.

The beautifully restored Limestone Barn (circa1870) lends itself perfectly to intimate dining experiences, in a relaxed and charming environment


Woodstock Coterie

Situated in a picturesque corner of McLaren Vale is the Woodstock Coterie Restaurant at Woodstock Wine Estate .
